Dear TMA Member,
Local Theater Musicians, Traveling Theater Musicians, and Broadway Theater Musicians must stick together selling live theater orchestras to everyone we can. Music Technology is alive and well with the use of Tape, Virtual Orchestra Type Machines, Hard Drive Technology in musicals around the country. There have been recent articles written about these types of music technology that have been printed in many major media outlets. We have the important job of educating and reminding the public that Live Theater Music is what they should be hearing and are paying to hear.
The AFM has hired a Public Relations Firm. Please take the time to tell President Lee and the other AFM Officers and Executive Board Members that this Live Theater Music Campaign should be one of the PR Firms Top Priorities.
It is hard to stop technology, but we must continue to sell ourselves and theater music the way it was meant to be heard “LIVE”.
